Meet The Team

At New Age Care we believe in heavily investing in Compassionate, Compliant and Professional staff to care for you!

Our Management

SAMANTHA
WHITTAKER

Director
I am originally from a successful family business in Yorkshire. I became involved in care as a result of losing my father to pancreatic cancer and my mother to complications from cancer. This is how my journey in care began.

The reason I decided to start New Age Care was because I didn’t like the ethos in the office of a large care company. I could see a better way to do things.

I want to make the care of clients the number one priority. I will achieve this by working closely with the customer and their family to understand their wishes and needs, and providing the best work environment for my staff.

SAMANTHA
MAWBY

Registered Manager
I have worked in the care industry for 16 + years, starting as a care assistant gradually working my way up the ladder to a senior carer and team leader.

I always knew I wanted to develop my career in care. My focus is on continuous improvement and developing our services to provide better outcomes for our clients and caregivers.

I also want to change the way caregivers are looked at and classed as unskilled workers.

Caregivers work incredibly hard and bring skill and dedication to their work, as was shown throughout the pandemic.

Louise Freeman

Deputy Manager
Leicestershire
I was born in England but grew up in Australia and worked for many years in the advertising industry.

Twenty five years ago I returned to the UK to get married and have my beautiful children. I then had a career change and became a personal PA to an elderly lady, which led me to become involved in the care industry five years ago.

DANNI MAWBY

Deputy Manager
Warwickshire
I have worked in the care sector for 6 years following in my mums’ footsteps. I started as a carer and worked my way up the ladder to become a senior and later a team leader.

I have always worked in domiciliary care and I am very passionate about making a difference in peoples lives.

During my free time – I like spending time with my family and friends and used to play football but a recent injury has stopped me playing. My favourite football team is Aston Villa.

Leila Brown

Deputy Manager
Solihull & Surrounding Areas
I am an experienced carer with over 10 years’ experience. I started my career working with adults with learning disabilities as a support worker.

I knew from my first day that the Care Industry was where I was meant to be. Since then, I have worked my way up the ladder to a Deputy Manager.

I am a very passionate carer who wants to empower people and help them remain as independent as possible. I want to make a difference and put a smile on someone’s face.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. Especially my nieces and nephews. I have a disabled nephew who I care for and spend a lot of time with.

OLIVIA
ELLIOT

Senior Leader
I have been working in the care sector for 5 + years. I started in domiciliary care as a care assistant working my way up the ladder to senior carer.

I enjoy the job I do and recently looked after my nan during her end-of-life care. I spent many years volunteering at my local hospital supporting with companionship for people in need.

Other passions of mine are art and music, although I like to spend lots of my free time aside from that travelling and socializing.

REBECCA
HARRIS

Training Co-ordinator
I started working in care within the community back in 2015 and then began working within the recruitment team. I soon found that this was the job for me, I wanted to ensure all the clients and their families are at ease knowing they have the best people around caring for them or their family member.

I absolutely love working in recruitment, meeting and speaking to new potential carers and then when I see them working their best each and everyday, caring for the people in the community – it makes me incredibly proud!

I believe in the ethos at New Age Care and it’s a joy to see a company taking care of their carers, just as they do their clients.
