Mampo handled a challenging situation with a client, who has been unable to drive for 12 months due to dementia, with patience and skill. Using gentle redirection, she was able to calm and reassure him, ensuring his safety and well-being. His family was so impressed that they have requested Mampo as his regular break carer—a true testament to her compassionate approach.

Doreen has been nothing short of incredible with her client, who also suffers from dementia. Every day, she ensures M stays active and engaged, taking her on train and bus trips to familiar places, attending breadmaking classes, and joining a singing group. Thanks to Doreen’s dedication, M is thriving, staying stimulated, and even showing signs of improvement

Kirsty has been awarded Carer of the Month for her outstanding dedication and commitment to her role.
